These are great for menstrual cramps and lower back pain. Great for lower back soreness. Works for neck ache.
Cons
It turns white inside and gets hard once activated. This pad was not even packaged.
I have a $25 item that is worthless. This heat pack is seriously over priced and overly complicated. Wasted my money.

This is a convenience item not a realistic replacement for daily use of a hot water bottle given that you have to boil it for roughly 15 minutes every time after use

You do in fact need boiling water to melt the crystal and restore this to the liquid form however i only had to boil it for about 10minutes

All of these are basically vinyl pack with acetate inside

The newer packs have some air bubbles floating around inside and physically feel less full when held
