I purchased these stairs for my 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix (15 lbs.) who hasn't been able to jump up onto my bed for the past few years. I wanted to restore some independence for him since he enjoys being on my bed and he would always have to wait for me to pick him up. It took him about a week or so to become comfortable with going up and down the stairs, but ever since then, he uses them with confidence!The build quality of these stairs is very good! I like that they are portable, can be folded, and the cover over the foam can be removed easily to wash if necessary. I did notice sometimes when my dog stopped and sat on the top step (I purchased the larger 4-step option) it wobbled a bit. Not wobbly enough that I was worried about him falling, but still noticeable. Since the 4-steps are separated into two pieces (see product image #3 above), I addressed that by inserting a flat barbell weight between the two pieces. It's incredibly sturdy now and doesn't move at all when he goes up and down.Overall, I (and my dog too!!) am very satisfied with these stairs!  Read Less
