Many who have looked at this cook book have gone on to buy it and wax lyrical about it also which imho is an amazing achievement because meera sodha as far as i know didnt have a tv show unlike rick steins india and didnt promote the book on tv

Now if youve been cooking a while i have having come from a family of restauranteurs many years of home cooking for family and friends at weekends now often mid week especially since covid remote working i wouldnt recommend this book

You have good kitchen knives food thermometers good pans insist on the best and freshest ingredients when cooking can cook the perfect anything say bearnaise sauce pad thai steak etc most times follow serious experts like heston del conte and many others this book is definitely not for you

I expect that of food writers even if they are not chefs and i expect that to be reflected in their recipes because it means the food will be amazing not just good
