Pros
It charges up through the echo device so unplugging the echo makes the base take over power supply so as to make it portable. Battery life seems fair, but we do plug in once in the kitchen each day.
Cons
Doesn’t hold any charge. Item was purchased by mistake returned. Dosnt hold the charge. I would return but you need to get your own courier and claim the money back due to it having a battery.

The only bad thing i have found is that voice commands are not as accurate or responsive when this is attached to the echo unit

Having to repeat my commands sometimes is annoying but speaking slow and clear makes the response more accurate

Love this item bit faffy as we changed out router 2 months after but we eventually got it working again 😀

Not sure how long it will power the the echo but so far have used it for 23 hours in the garden and still shows 2 blue lights indicating plenty battery life still left
