Pros
Glide 38 is apex quality. It isn't insanely fast or anything, and you still get plenty of stopping force. Amp 500 is smoother/slicker feeling on stock skates, hyperglides, & tiger arcs.
Textured surface really helps you lock in for those flick shots. My brother loves it, but he scratches it with his fingers. The bumps on the surface are very subtle and i have come to appreciate them.
Cons
Like others have stated, this * starts fraying day 1. It basically starts to fray from the moment you take it out of the box. The threads hanging off looks terrible.
It isn't durable and his glide doesn't worth a penny if it doesn't hold on.

This is mostly due to the feet layout on the mouse and not the pad
