Bought it brand new from amazon. And the seller is great! Good unit. Great price too,btw.
Ahh the sound of music, finally. No noise or hum at all. Very nice features and no humming from connecting computers to it either through the usb or through any of the other ports.

This mixer is perfect for the small setup. It is very compact and easy to take about with you. Be sure to read the instruction manual.
They are uniformly warm, articulate, rich-sounding'verbs that add wonderful ambience to your mix. The sound quality is exceptional.
Cons
It has ceased to produce any kind of decipherable signal. The repair shop says all mackie pays for is straight board replacement, no component level fixing.

I have one mic but will likely add a second at some point and there is room for that in the mixer but not on the aphex
Competitiveness
I recommend also buying 2 xlr female to 14inch trs male adapters if you think youll need 8 balanced channels
My profx12 continues to work flawlessly over 10years now
Originallyi bought the comparable behringer because it had a better feature set for the price

I never use the direct sound effects personally i think that stuff should be done digitally for optimal precision

Its nice to have the free program but overall i recommend mixcraft or protools which should work well with this mixer

It is absolutely ridiculous they call this a 12 channel mixer

Although you could put at least 12 instruments into it you could not isolate the volume nor destination of all 12 channels
