Im very happy with the sound of these just seems more wellbalanced than the previous version
I had the original hr824 for 20 years and one finally let go so i replaced with the mk2s and they are superb
I choke off the lows to the mackies and blend in the sub and can crank all this up to absolutely dangerous and hurtful levels
Price
There is night and day difference between the two as well as the price

I must say that technology and competition brought prices down drastically

You can spend more money but youd probably need a computer to tell the difference in accuracy

Most will do an extremely poor job of replicating the lowest octive on a piano without help from a subwoofer
