Each story has an afterword by howey explaining the genesis of the story. Howey shows a level of vulnerability in these afterword sections that make me think about topics from another point of view. This was available as a kindle bargain.

These stories remind me of harlan ellison and philip k *'s work.

Review arc graciously provided by the publisher via netgalley. Every single story is so much deeper than most anything else in the sci-fi world. They range from a few pages to several chapters and are very captivating.

Melville poses an intriguing thought worth mulling for those who ponder skynet. I find his stories to be very enjoyable and they often make me pause for reflection.
