Right out of the box, the contacts to the mbp were flakey.

Jiggling it could get the power indicator on the menu bar to flash the lightening bolt, but it wasn't stable, and the led on the power adapter never lit.

It's also suspicious that the just genius power adapter is noticeably lighter than the apple power adapter.
