Of course taking the hood off means the entire neck hole is exposed and letting in precipitation so i had to do a kind of onoff balancing act

I really liked the jacket but they run small so it did not meet my needs of a waterproof jacket that would fit over other coats

The material was not too loud i hate that swishy cheap wind breaker sound feel the colors offered are plentiful good the pockets were nice and deep surprisingly a problem with many higher end jackets it was easy to pack down and the reflective strip on the back was a great feature also often missing from higher end models

The only place this jacket fell short for me and it was a major disappointment was the hood and its lack of adjustment and lack of a brim
