Pros
The retraction button is very convenient; it works well and very quickly. This is much more kid friendly and still keeps his interest. Solid constructions and goes in and out without a hitch.
Cons
Complete piece of junk. Not the most robust product you can find. Not sure this one is able to stand up to any more * / use that the non-medical ones offered locally.
The outside of this retractable tape measure are two fitted shell pieces. Inches are on one side of the tape and cm are on the other. Measurement is waaay off, 4 millimeters off at only 6cm out! It's more fit to be used as a small dog leash.
Top bun cups onto the bottom bun and there's not even any ketchup to work as a pathetic adhesive. The shell is so weak that dropping it will just make it explode open on impact due to the metal coil inside.

My 30foot metal builders tape measure is great for something longer than my arm span but its awkward for a lot else including carrying it around with me when i go to a store to see if something smaller than a bathtub will fit where i have in mind

Ive used long rulers to get the idea of the size of something online that has its product dimensions in centimeters but you cant just stick a ruler in your pocket when youre done

Little booger whips right back in now i try to run it through my fingers and catch it last couple inches as the plastic tip will slap into the case
