The drill for its size has enough power to do most medium sized jobs and the impact competes with the big boy full sized counterparts

Its small and as powerful as some 18v drills ive used yet easy for anyone to handle
As far as how they work ive had them for over three monthes now and i havent had a problem with them
Also dont forget many well respected brand name 18v sets arent much more powerful than this set
