The back of the case is softer. The semi-rigid shell provides exactly the level of protection from scratching the lenses.

It's snug but they fit. I wear cargo pants so this isn't an issue for me, but it's something to consider. I carry my extra set of small readers in my purse but the case they were in was old and hard cased.

Case has just the right amount of stiffness to keep my glasses from being squashed. Allows me to store my glasses safely and quickly in my pocket with minimal pocket bulge.

If you have eyeglasses that aren’t too large i think you would be satisfied with this case. My glasses are large and cat eye shaped, but they still fit in. It's a beautiful case, and excellent to store glasses in your pocket.

The case is firm and protective yet virtually weightless. It's roomy and easy to access. The leather finish gives the case a very classy, stylish look.

However i feel it's a little too flimsy when it comes to the closing tab. Also it easily gets dirty inside if you leave it open for a while.
