Pros

Black fly creations has a 13' tenkara fly rod. The rod has a stiffer action than a 6:4 action rod, making casting and handling fish easier. Casting is intuitive just reach out and use the force.

Very well crafted in a quality sleeve and hard case. The carrying case is sturdy and lightweight. Case is very handy!

The seams, epoxy, paint are excellent. Craftsman ship seems right on especially for the price.

The cork grip is great, the furled leader with the ring makes casting and changing tippet easy.

The adjustable length is useful, and it was actually useful to fully extend it in areas that i would have thought a shorter rod would be better. The triple zoom definitely comes at a price, it feels very heavy in the hand.

Cons

The top piece of the rod that holds the lillian, completely separated from the rest of the rods, so it's essentially useless now. The outer coating is deteriorating. They were just stuck. No answer, apparently no warranty.

Couldnt be more pleased in the quality of the rod and the action on the water

I am amazed at the quality of the rod

I begin by saying the quality of the tackle and rod are great but the soft case is too flimsy and could use a stiff side wall or inserts

The quality of this rod is comparable to some very expensive rods that i looked at and handled in a high end fly shop

Price

The price was right for me to experiment to see if tenkara fishing was a new way for me to fish

The rod quality seems very good as is the protective packaging

Definitely a 5star product with great support from seller

I dont know if its heavier than other comparable length tenkara rods but its a great value
