Product description is still not correct. This is not the larger size that they described and is actually the standard 1 x 1-1/8 that you can pick up at your local hardware store.

I used my table saw to cut it to length filed the sharp edges off the fresh cut and used the adhesive strip to lock it down

I had to return it because i assumed we know what assume stands for the place i needed to install it was 36 because the stair treads i had used were 36

And before removing the protective film practice placing the nonadhesive front portion of the aluminum strip against the stair tread with a halfinch clearance above the horizontal surface
