Note this is only an input device it doesnt make sounds you need to hook it to something that can take midi input and convert it to music like a 1300 laptop hmmm

Basically the diference is that the controller does not sound by itself it needs to be connected to a computer

I think all depends on your needs i like to play piano in my free time and what i needed is a keyboard to practice at home for that purpose this midi controller is ok

You also need an program to make this keyboard work i recomend midipianohere is a video where i am playing moonlight sonata using my midi controller

The keys feel fine but the pitchbend and mod wheel are terrible
