This isnt a problem for me since im using 1 inch curtain rods but if youre using the large wooden or metal rods you find at the big box stores these rings wont work since the rod itself is 1 38 inches in diameter and you wont have enough slack to slide the curtains

The wire holding the clip to the ring also looks thin and open like it would just break or stitch open from weight but this is not the case at all
