Pros

Since my son is a lefty, it's perfect. The strap is functional and appropriate. The gig bag is a nice extra, as is the strap.

The amp is larger and louder than i expected, and my daughter appreciates that it comes with a headphone jack! My only complaint is not with the guitar but with the amp. On a string through bridge, system, the saddle screws should be a bit shorter.

Cons

Horrible build quality. The craftsmanship is so disappointing. If your beginner actually wants to practice this guitar is discouraging. Amp is very week, and has a constant static noise.

I didnt use the cord that comes with it i got an l shaped one separately but ill keep the cord that came with the kit as back up

For a young person starter kit this sounds good and the price is great

I certainly wouldnt pay more than 159 for it so if the price goes up id say pass on the kit and find the pieces separately
