Pros
Great gel pack that can be used hot or cold. This moulds to the shape of your knee or ankle to apply cold or heat. Easy to use, as most people have microwave ovens. I am happy not to move about when icing my knee so it all works very well.
Good positioning with the velcro strap. The stretchy strap secures it in place with velcro.
This is the best thing i bought to ease the pain of having a knee replacement. Great tho that one gel pack does both! The gel pack is a decent size and the design of the compress is really good. It does what it says on the tin.
My mum loves the product helps her with her pain relief. Reduces swelling and pain. Post operative therapy for a friend. Very convenient, easy to apply, long lasting relief.
Cons
This is a clunky wrap. Difficult to wrap around a painful knee and keep the heavy frozen pack in place whilst doing so. Started leaking after 10 days.

We did not use the mesh sleeve that was provided to put the ice pack into due to the fact that it was more effective

I bought this because i had a nasty accident and my right knee was like a balloon i made ice pk myself but it was no good so i bought the gel pack it really made a difference with my knee you just put it in the freezer after hour or so it is ready to use just strap it round it really help my knee very quickly being that the hospital told me it will take a long time to go down and also i might have problems with my knee after which i never i would recommend it

As per instruction you must give it a squeeze to distribute the internal gel then another short blast

I noticed that it may not feel that hot on your hand but when on my knee it feels a lot hotter thats not the gel pad thats our hands are more tolerant of heat

The pad can be frozen when it is frozen its not solid so can still wrap
