Pros
Led bulbs are the way to go. They are fairly priced and very long lasting. Will update if there are any longevity issues.
Cons
The failed bulbs have no visible sign of overheating as i was expecting. When turning on my smart switch after a few minutes the lights would turn off but my switch is still on. In my opinion inferior quality.
The lamps have inconsistent dimming between the individual bulbs. These are not dimmable even with and electronic dimmer switch. The dimming is also poor and below about 30% causes flickering or they turn off. These bulbs flicker all the time it hurts... Read More

Bulb seems as bright as advertised but a little warmer than i expected a 3500k temperature to appear
I am using a lutron dimmer switch and have absolutely no problem whatsoever
The 60w equivalent versions are not bright enough to replace many regular bulbs
Earlier had a cree brand bulb with a claimed life of 22 years but a warrantee of 10 years

For anyone thinking the bulbs are the problem remove the faceplate on your dimmer switch and look for a small switch or knob that is used to adjust the level of brightness at the lowest setting

Set it so that at the lowest setting you have at least a tiny bit of light
