I like the led style bulbs for christmas lights but theyve always seemed too bright and wanted to have better control over the brightness and the ability to hide the lights

I tested them first while still on the spool and if you do that we warned keeping them spooled and turning them on will produce enough heat to melt the plastic spool they come spunon

To put them up rather than use the sticky back it has already on them i choose to use thin strips of heavyduty ultra sticky duct tape

Its hardly noticeable and in this way i dont have to commit to ripping it off the surface if it did not work out as i hoped

The tape is pretty well hidden by the dark color along the garage edges but im hoping to find a more elegant solution
