You can have your ipad air stand in multiple angles in both portrait and landscape mode i prefer in landscape as it is little wobbly in portrait

All the cutouts match up and the case comes over the edge of the ipad to protect the edges

When it came in the mail it was just zip locked in a plastic bag

When i opened the bag there was no off gassing of funny smells as with most sealed up fake plastic ipad covers
