The device covers the switch and gives you on/off and dimming control. It works even on the other side of the house very far from the radio. No more fumbling in the dark with the regular remote and messing up the stereo settings.

Button in the middle is a microswitch, nice and clicky. The phillips hue app recognizes it right away. Setting some advanced automation requiresimplementing a differential function of the dimmer events.

Lutron product blends in really nicely and looks like it was always a dimmer to begin with. Worked great for approx.

My only complaint is that they’re a little overpriced in my opinion. The only downside is the price of course. My only gripe is the ungodly amount of plastic packaging.

Lutron aurora knob can mount over a simple light switch. Just turn the switch on, slide the mount over the switch, tighten a screw and snap the dial on. If you don't have a screwdriver, you need it to attach the base to the light switch toggle.

This does not work with sengled/echo setups - i feel a bit tricked by the description of the product. Based on other reviews it seems i am not the only one to encounter this.
