On the back of my hand, it looks redder too, as you can see in the pictures. It provides a very luminous finish without looking oily. I prefer a little pinker/reddish for blush; it still is a good blush.

It has minimal ingredients (no talc, perfumes, etc) and it's cruelty free. And i have food allergies and other stuff so i like that it is gluten free!

This product helps quite well in minimizing the fine flakes that i always seem to have on my cheeks. I have 50+ yr old skin, with pores that clog very easily. It is usually on the dry side, as i can use very little moisturizer.

Save yourself the time and money and stick with the regular brand. Unfortunately, the company appears to have been sold and the product is not the same (even though the website says it hasn't).
