The taste is not like a main stream hot chocolate which is very sweet and full of sugar this tastes more natural and as such takes a little time to adjust but in the long run far better for you i started with a little maple syrup to sweeten it and now drink it raw and have even tried it mixed in a coffee which is well worth a try
