It came in a nasty box but what can you expect when it comes from a nasty warehouse and has been dragged all over because it weighs alot.

I heard alot about beds not returning to original shape .

There is a small layer of cloth above the water proof material for comfort so it will stain if it is anything that it is not clear, but it will not reach the mattress.
