Pros

This is far more filter foam than i expected this is amazing! Holds up great to rinsing. This is cheaper then at the store if you can find a similar and compared price, quantities, and quality. Pretty good value for the money.

When topped with a polishing pad these will fill one cannister filter compartment fairly tight. Can fit one set of filters in one media tray (one coarse, medium and fine) easy to cut and install in my canister filter and sump.

Cons

These types of egg crate foams allegedly have more surface area due to the undulating surface on one side. The green (fine pad) is a little too fine for most filtration devices.
