Keeps trash from going down your drain very well

It is a onepiece design there is no seam where the rim and the part with the holes meet which means no crevice to fill with kitchen gunk

It has holes on the diagonal sides so it will still drain even if the bottom has food stuck to it and none of the others have drain holes there

I couldnt reuse the old one because the new one was about a quarter maybe a half inch bigger so the old one kinda fell into the hole
