Pros & Cons
Pros
The anthem is the best acoustic pickup ive used. The only downfall is that you can only change the battery if the strings are off. Kudos to l.
Baggs under-saddle pickup emphasizes the mid-range and bass strings. It also delivers good amplification.
The anthem exceeds all claims made by lr baggs. It is a system that you can easily tailor to your guitar. The only con is the price which is pretty steep.
The anthem is a foolproof multi source system. High frequencies are captured (and amplified) by the microphone. Mix in as much of the mic as you want, and if there's a problem, it can always be dialed back.
Is it perfect? The element sounds pretty good. The anthem sounds great.
Cons
Unplugging the cable does not shut down the preamp, meaning the battery drains in days. The phase switch is defective and needs tweaking and playing with to get every state to work.

I tried the lyric and the anthem sl and was disappointed in both
And i would compare it to other guitars 3 times as expensive and my guitar always came out on top compared to action and tone
This sounds amazing but its a little quiet compared to other pickups

Speaking as a hobbyist when i use this at home with my recording equipment its fine however the audio engineer at church evidently has to turn me up a lot more compared to the other acoustic guitarists who play

That said though my sound comes through the mix sufficiently even with 10 instruments multiple singers and a choir so it may be quieter than others but not in a way that is detrimental
