Annoying yes, but not bad enough to buy new ones. Just popped in the replacements and enjoying my bose qc3s again. I guess that might eventually have the same flaking problem as the original but at this price that's no problem. They make a very worn p... Read More

To replace the old ones all you do is pull them straight off. Put these directly over the top of the earphone and push on and they clip into place. Easy to pry worn ones off with fingernails and snap these on.

They fit exactly as they should, the materials seem identical. The faux leather part is soft just like bose, its not stiff vinyl.

Cons

The units were poorly made and defective on delivery. The foam is not memory.
