Pros
The boots fit perfectly and are the lightest thing i have ever owned. When i tried them on they fit like a glove! They fit well. Your foot slips right in, then they feel snug once you lace them up.
The tread is still great. They are rugged and can withstand the harsh sonoran desert vegetation. They have amazing traction in mud, snow, wet areas and rocks.
They last forever. They are a little stiff but should not take any longer to break in than my previous lowa's that i purchased 5 years ago. He likes that they're more of a hiking boot look vs combat boot.
The sole is a softer rubber, and it is not the grippiest boot. These really help with mobility, & ankle support especially in the field. Ankle support is enough to prevent rolls, which i am prone to after tearing several ligaments in my foot.

Quality
Fed up with lower quality boots that i needed to replace i decided to invest in a high quality pair
No cramps afterwards no blisters in the break in phase even with the flat rubber
Otherwise the quality seems great but well see how the tread wears
Quality seems good im just worried about the tread depth being somewhat shallow and them wearing down
Price
My feet and body are worth the price
Packaging/appearance
They fit well were true to size and felt excellent right out of the box
Although my feet were buried and the boots looked wet
Competitiveness
Like everybody else states go half size bigger have owned and currently own more that one pair of lowa boots
I have 6 pr lowa boots for me they excellent
I would give it a 5star rating if the price point wasnt so high
Before embarking on a 3day hunt i took these boots out on a few day hikes to break them in

I received the lowa boots i ordered within two weeks

The sole is coming off of one of the boots i bought them in may 2017 i don’t wear them every day only use them for hiking and hunting you would think if you pay 200 for a pair of boots they would last for at least two years under minimal use
