They have very solid footing. No issues of sweaty feet. Finely crafted rugged boot.
They fit incredible in the store. Fit is very comfortable right out of the box. Also fits well over the arch which is one place i often find shoes to fit too tight on me.
These boots have lived up to all of my expectations without fail. They are a little expensive but i think they are worth it. They still work but i'll have to replace them before long. Can't find them anymore.
Cons
The vibram sole is either too thin or too soft to provide any sort of longevity to this boot. The lacing has a moderate tendency to release from the undersized mid lace hooks. I have older much cheaper shoes with more mileage that have held together l... Read More
These boots have very little wear on them, and have self-destructed. The boot maker has an 18 month backlog, instead of the usual 6 month backlog. The box itself must be in great shape in order to obtain a full refund.

Still great quality great fit no water inside
Very comfortable pretty light pretty durable no issues of sweaty feet
After ten years the rubber soles rotted and were unwearable
Hard rugged work nearly every day hiking and the occasional back country rescue assisting injured hikers as part of the fire department

These boots that i paid half the retail for will be purchased again at full price gladly
I had it repaired for a couple of dollars and they have been great since
I got these on clearance for less than half of what they go for at the retail price
They are a little expensive but i think they are worth it

Spend wisely these are the best brand going
I enjoy them more than my previous boots which were vasque sundowners
Lowa is the only brand of hiking boot purchased by the ymca of the rockies for use as rentals that says a lot for the brand
They provide better ankle support than one of the other brands i wear so for hiking in heavy rocky mountain terrain these will be nice

The one and only complaint is the toe side stitching seems to give out after a hundred miles or so

The boots are comfortable out of the box and the nubuck leather shows almost no sign of use after hiking in our desert with its razor sharp limestone and rubble
