Pros

They offer fantastic ankle stability without feeling bulky. I didn’t realize how much better having a finely crafted rugged boot could improve my day to day life. The shoe soles are very comfortable.

Very lightweight but extremely durable. Not way too soft, and not hard like a rock. No issues of sweaty feet.

Saves time. Well worth the price. An excellent boot.

The renegades are great for weekend warriors and avid hikers. The tread is still good and the uppers show hardly any wear.

Whitney and the pct. This is my third pair & my wife also has a pair. I wear a 2b regularly but trusted the reviews that 2b fit into the (m) range.

Cons

Felt like slippers. Feet slipping & sliding all over the place. Rubber has changed to one that is cheaper and makes hiking slippery terrain dangerous.

They were pretty well trashed after two weeks. Extremely disappointed. Expensive trash. Never buying from lowa again.

I enjoy them more than my previous boots which were vasque sundowners

Lowa is the only brand of hiking boot purchased by the ymca of the rockies for use as rentals that says a lot for the brand

They provide better ankle support than one of the other brands i wear so for hiking in heavy rocky mountain terrain these will be nice
