It's perfect for our 2 little pekingese. Best thing is it is currently too big for my pup. He's not a chewer so we don't have any concerns.
The kennels aren't as cosmetically pleasing as a tv cabinet, but it was a good compromise. Good solid construction, not particleboard or cardboard.
Easy to put together and collapsible to move around in. I like the sturdiness of it, and yet it’s still portable. Was easier using a drill for the extra parts and not drilling in the screws by hand.
The only negative i have is the locks. My cats adore it, even when i was cleaning it today the younger one was meowing and running around it. Could easily add a latch to secure it down. She was trained to be in crate with litter mates and took to this... Read More

The pine is very dry and prone to cracking. My puppy scratches at the door and there’s constantly pieces of wood all around.

However as you can see in the pictures the wood is rather cheap and a few flaws especially around one of the hinges is cracked a bit

I’d recommend one of the crates that features the wire mesh between puppy and that pretty and apparently tasty wood exterior unless you’re pretty sure fido can resist

I dont know if its cedar or pine but you cant walk past the room with out smelling it
