The heat sinks have the thin adhesive film that allows heat transfer and the results were noticeable right away with hand holding the pi 3 b

Be careful placing them down as they sit exactly as they are placed so if you are off slightly they will stay way even if you twist them some to try and get them adjust

If you have a hat it is higher than the pins does not let hat attach properly

Thermal adhesive stuck right to the chips with no issues

Probably not necessary for the pi unless youre going to overclock it or do some heavy duty computing but the set of them are 4 dollars
