The mystery involving the tain robbers that drives the narrative is engaging and draws you through breathlessly sometimes as the hh face real danger in this otherwise lighthearted tale as they work toward unraveling the mystery

And on top of all that the audible version has the added treat of the narrator doing the many bird calls that occur in the story when the h is telling the towns children about birds or is birding during the course of the story
