Pros & Cons
Pros
Love lettering is a pure and unadulterated delight of a book. It's stunning and it's creative and it’s passionately impressive. As for the youthfulness, it is true that this book will resonate with those in their 20's.
Loved the story. All of the characters are memorable and relatable. There was depth to the characters and just the right amount of drama. Love how real and genuine their relationship is.
Meg mackworth is a lettering savant, seeing the letters emanating from those she connects with. Meg is a far better person than me for how well she understands and forgives even her best friend, who i was not keen on forgiving so easily!
Cons
Meg is a self-absorbed, in-her-head person; her life seems cold and gray and sad; she barely speaks to her roommate, her ex-best friend. Adolescent formulaic romance. Lots of gratuitous graphic *.
