Lina and ren's relationship is so wholesome and paced beautifully. Entertainingly written in the first person, lina is terribly sad about the loss of her mother and unsure of her future.

Lina discovers more than she expected as she explores, following in the decades-old footsteps she discovers in her mother’s journal. Lina is essentially in ava's shoes except lina has a journal that her mother wrote explaining everything.

There was even a scene where the main character is being inappropriately touched by a stranger. Dull, cringe worthy and predictable.
