Pros
This comb is amazing for thick curly hair. I find that using a nice hair oil to rub on the wood and let it soak in worked well. I use it to take the tangles out of my beard before i get my beard oil in.
Cons
Poor quality hair gets more tangled than before. The hair of a poor quality person is more likely to get tangled.

I do think they are a bit pricey but they’re also really sturdy and help with frizz
