I use this clock in a classroom where i needed to be able to see the numbers from more that 30 feet. Being able to change colors is a nice bonus.
Bed * is used to give you a tactile alert and the clock's speaker gives you the auditory alert. The buzzer is strong which may help to make up for the lack of alarm volume.
Display is large, and you can adjust the brightness. Full range dimmer is also a nice feature. Usb charger input is great to be able to attach a phone charger to the alarm clock.
Cons
The cord is too wimpy for a 160lb kid to be using it as a vibrating alarm. The bed shaker itself is just a tiny little vibrating disc, i have a memory foam mattress so this does nothing. The brightness is just wayyyy to bright.

If it were without the vibrating unit i would say that it is somewhat overpriced and my rating would be 4 stars
I definitely believe this is worth the purchase value
For the record for a bit less money they also sell this clock without the vibrating feature and i would rate that very highly as well
