Pros & Cons
Pros
This rice has a unique flavor when compared to white or brown rice. Crunchier than brown or white rice. Unique in color, but in texture too.
This rice is the healthiest rice of all. It is probably healthier than a white rice (antioxidants, maybe?
Cons
What is sold as forbidden rice has a uniformed black to deep purple color. It appears to be rice over-milled, dyed, and polished. It says it is organic in the name but when you get the rice it has no organic certification on its packaging.
Highlights
Quality
I have to say i have noticed more hair growth with the white rice
As a diabetic or anyone on a low carb diet this is a great product
Competitiveness
Love the forbidden black rice even more especially when i add vegies andor spices
