I was swimming in the ocean and my camera fell in the water when i located it the hand grip was dutifully floating

We actually bought this simply for holding a gopro session while video recording our young infant

You can put money or keys in the handle but i actually plan on putting some lead weights in their to further stabilize the camera

I just received this item yesterday and already put it to the test by going to a waterpark

I also tested by adding a little of water closing the bottom cap and making it float buoyancy in the water although its a bit tricky to do this as a little too much weight makes it sink to the bottom and too little water makes it float to the top

Also checking my videos afterwards it does seem to make the video more stable vs holding the camera with my hand without the handle

It was so tight to open it slightly to be able to put it on the handle that by the time i was using the handlecamera in the water it the plastic piece of the strap got looser and eventually fell
