The gooseneck and rest of the unit seems to be very sturdy and overall i think wed have been happy if the clamp would have just been more secure once we tried to attach it

No matter what we tried it would wiggle loose from the headboard and other platforms to which we tried to attach it

Also though i know many dont have heavy duty cases it just barely fir our ipad2 with its griffin survivor case on it

Had the clamp been more secure wed have kept the item even though getting the ipad in and out of the holder would have been a little cumbersome partly due to the case but with both that and the fact we were worried that itd move or fall off the headboard while in use we had to return it
