Pros

The back is adjustable vertically and horizontally. Thick padding for the seat makes this chair comfortable. It is a companion for my old chair which is more than 30 yrs.

Ease of moving the foot rest to accommodate here legs and the sturdiness of the back support are great. Nice adjustable footrest. Footring is a must for me.

Price is reasonable and they seem well built. Great value and quality. Couldn't be happier. Nothing to complain about it.

The lorell adjustable stool is so much of an improvement, and not that much more in cost. She uses the chair as an aid in the kitchen moving around the counter. For a shop stool/tall chair it does its job.

Two semi-circular steel plates that press on either side of the column and hold it very sturdily. The pedestal is plastic, but appears to be good quality plastic.

Cons

As a stool, for me, it fails completely. The foot ring is too flimsy and difficult to adjust. There were no 'directions' - only photos. The only instructions are two diagrams.
