Pros

This xl size sock fits really tight on my foot and calf. They are true to size. I like that they aren't tight fitting around the foot and ankle.

They are very reasonably priced for the quality. After extending my search i ran into these, oand am super happy, it is exactly what i need. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Cons

They are pretty much normal width socks (label says 25% looser than normal socks which may? These socks of medium weight are not loose fit. Very frustrating, especiallywhen thet are advertised as over sized.

Maybe i have my expectations too high. Very disappointed. Gave them away. I'm sorry to give these socks, which are mostly nice, a 1-star rating.

They are somewhat soft, though i found them just slightly scratchy. And the merino wool is rough to touch and unpleasant. Also, socks are somewhat abrasive on top of your foot.

These use too much elastic and they are too tight on top. My feet are size 11 ee (woman) and the top is way too tight to conveniently fit over my foot.

If i buy these high priced socks again i will move up one size for my shoe size
