With the shoe clipped in, you can still rotate your heel as much as 9° side to side. They clip in and out even more smoothly than the original shimano cleats.
Worked great attaching on my men's elite road v5 cycling shoe. They work well and easy for a peloton. Work great for our peleton bike. Good standard replacement for look pedal.

Depending on how often you use the shoes with these locks you may need to tighten the screws every couple of months but ive had these for almost a year and only had to tighten the screws once and i cycle very often

As others have noted the screws provided were too short at least for the holes of my 25year old diadora cycling shoes
