Pros & Cons
Pros
The fan blade fits snugly on the shaft. The shaft is precisely to the. The fan housing is a near exact replica of the original i removed. Holes are included for adding oil.
Could not be happier with the service. Arrived when expected. Delivered promptly. Hopefully this one lasts longer.
Using ifttt i have the fan come on when the attic reaches 90f and go off at 80f. Oi is a great replacement motor for the 20years old attic fan motor. Part # dow 136-0-40-xin 3/4.
Cons
This is not the first item and probable won't be the last if amazon doesn't note returned items only. Contacting company to arrange warranty refund.
Motor is noisy, sounds like bearings have no lubrication. Clearnaces are sloppy betw bearing and shaft at high rpm. This is not as powerful as my old sears.
