The lolunut tongue drum is a cool addition to my side instruments (psaltry, kalimba and mouth harp) that i play regularly, but not quite as well or as regular as the keyboard, guitar or hammered dulcimer.
It’s an inspiration! This is an excellent tool for someone who wants to explore music without being overwhelmed. Great for de-stressing. Therapeutic to play.

It comes with a songbook, but it's really fun to just improvise on and relax. Comes with a little booklet with some songs like happy birthday and twinkle twinkle as well as a bunch of unfamiliar taiwanese and chinese folk tunes.

So if you want to play with another instrument or record with it you can do that easily

Playing with the stick mallets is much easier

Of course playing with your fingers makes triads possible so if you want to harmonize thats a better way to go

Likewise if you play it in c you have only a flat seven which can be useful in the correct context so you get two keys out of this drum
