The layout is great for some games though if you need an analog stick you may want to buy something with one of those because the directional pad is no replacement i basically played through the later parts of metal gear solid 2 with the controller in one hand and my mouse in the other and that was really awkward you can imagine
Still buying one of these now will last you till 2020 if mine is any indication
The very worst thing i can say about this gamepad is that every time windows boots up if you want to play a game that supports joysticks with your keyboard the motion sensor which i rarely use so cant really vouch for has to be turned off or the controller unplugged or else it will interfere
It is great for games that require many buttons such as final fantasy viii a great game by the way
