The top cover of the mouse is held in place magnetically and easy to pry off with your fingernail to insert the battery. Battery lasts forever, a replaceable aa which also adds a bit of welcome weight.

The mx master 3s is more ergonomic than the mx master 2s. It's not meant for a serious gamer, but it's not bad either.

Cons

Despite multiple configurations and connecting via usb and bluetooth, the lag is unbearable and makes it nearly impossible to use. Media could not be loaded. All of the drivers fail to install. Only part that works usb mouse for windows 8.
